1997 BMW E36 323i
What was once a stock, factory manual E36 passed down through the family has been transformed into a purpose-built drift car. Originally owned by the builder's grandmother, this 323i was purchased in 2024 and completely rebuilt from the ground up, with a focus on reliability, handling, and seat time.
The suspension has been overhauled with solid bushes throughout, BC Racing coilovers, and Whiteline sway bars, while E46 330 brakes, an M3 differential, and a Stage 3 clutch help the car handle the demands of drifting. Power comes from the trusty M52B25, tuned by the owner's dad and paired with a Getrag 5-speed gearbox.
Inside, bucket seats, an AGI half cage, aftermarket steering wheel, and Coolerworx shifter create a driver-focused cockpit. Built to be driven hard and enjoyed properly, this E36 spends its time doing exactly what it was made for — going sideways.
